We keep minimums low because the right amount of care is whatever your situation actually needs. Many clients start with two or three short visits a week. From there the schedule can grow, shrink or shift with a simple phone call, all the way up to 24-hour senior home care if it is ever needed.
Yes, that is how we staff. A primary caregiver is matched to your loved one for personality as well as skills, with a consistent backup for days off. If the fit is not right, tell us once and we rematch quickly.
Home health is clinical: nurses and therapists making short, doctor-ordered visits, typically covered by Medicare. Home care assistance is non-medical daily support for as many hours as you choose, paid privately, through long-term care insurance or VA benefits. Many families use both at once.
Every caregiver is a registered home care aide on California’s Home Care Aide Registry, which requires a background check through the Department of Justice. On top of that: reference verification, in-person interviews and training before anyone enters a client’s home, plus ongoing supervision after. We hire people we would trust with our own parents, and we staff patiently rather than fill shifts with strangers.
